Multi-market mobile apps built: we also mocked the backends, set the contracts, and pulled the API teams to them.
A global operator needed iOS, Android, and PWA on enterprise timelines. Legacy CRM, slow incumbent delivery, and unclear APIs meant the usual model pointed at six to twelve months and a large SI bench — so we defined data contracts, mocked every backend interaction, and kept three platforms moving while we steered the backend team toward the interfaces the product actually needed
What we did
We ran a lean squad (three seniors), architecture-first: Data contracts in charge, rapid mapping exercises to existing systems with reduced or bypassed dependencies where systems slipped, and automation-heavy engineering so throughput stayed high without enlarging the programme. The product shipped as iOS, Android, and PWA with twenty-two user journeys and roughly three hundred automated checks stabilising regressions.
Outcome
Production-ready application in weeks rather than the usual multi-quarter SI arc; frontend carried momentum while backends caught up; client replaced the seven-to-fifteen-person SI footprint with a tight team and a codebase sized for further markets.
